KMA Radio: Branstad brings comeback tour to Red Oak

(Red Oak) — After more than a decade out of Iowa’s political limelight, Terry Branstad wants to be governor again.

Branstad’s comeback tour stopped in Red Oak Tuesday evening, where he was guest speaker at the Red Oak Chamber and Industry Association’s awards presentation. Branstad tells KMA News he’s running for the Republican gubernatorial nomination because he’s disappointed with the state’s financial situation since he left office in 1998.
